한국과 미국의 Mental Health Service 차이점
한국에서와는 달리 미국에서는 정신과 (Psychiatrist) 에서는 약처방 서비스에 대한 것에 더 전문화가 되어있고, 심리상담은 전문 Clinical Psychotherapist와 충분한 시간과 빈도 (1session/ week) 을 갖고, 심리/감정분석 및 치료가 이루어 지게 됩니다.
임상심리사와 상담중 약처방이 필요하다고 판단되는 경우 정신과 선생님에게 referral 해 드릴 수 있습니다.
전문성
Wecare Therapy Clinic 에서 임상심리상담사로 활동 하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 검증 과정을 충족해야 합니다.
- 의회에서 승인한 대학에서 박사, 박사학위, 또는 석사학위 취득.
- 각 분야에서 최소 3000시간의 슈퍼비젼 경험을 쌓음.
- 임상 면허 시험에 합격.
- 면허 획득 후 최소 2년의 경험 보유.
